Catching Up With The Gourley Family

It’s that time of year again – the season where home renovation shows start to fill up our TV guides, and kiwi born Our First home is back for round two. Last season saw three families competing to buy, renovate, and sell their homes for the biggest profit. Harrisons worked closely with the couples to bring the latest carpet and vinyl planking, and even solar panels to the homes!

The Gourley family, with their Harrisons installed carpet and vinyl planking, netted a profit of $143,500! Here’s what the Gourley’s had to say about working with Harrisons.

It’s been many weeks since we (the Gourley team) finished work on our house in Avondale as part of ‘Our First Home’…. But we certainly haven’t forgotten the enormous difference Harrisons made to our renovation project.

It was such a pleasure to know that we were able to offer a top quality finish because it started with top quality floor coverings. We really enjoyed the chance to try the gorgeous carpet and vinyl planking first hand. Completely sold on both now! We especially appreciated the helpfulness and professionalism of your team as we chose and ordered – sometimes under intense time pressure due to the constraints of TV production.

For us on a personal and family level, the experience has been more than worthwhile; Amy & Matt are happily house hunting and looking forward to the chance to apply their new skills in their own project. We have all gained much insight and confidence that we will carry forward into life.
